Preload Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Now
If you pre-purchased Left 4 Dead 2 via Steam now’s the time to start pre-loading the game demo, which is due to launch for early access on Tuesday, October 27.
Early access to the L4D2 demo is available for both retail (360, PC) and Steam (PC) customers. Those who pre-ordered via participating retailers should be able to pick up their early access codes this weekend and be ready to play on Tuesday when the demo launches.
Can you go to game stop and get the demo I pre-ordered it but I have no clue if they have it. Can you help me?

For serious? I assumed you had to go in for the code on Tuesday, but…if I can just drive by Gamestop tomorrow and get it out of the way, I’ll definitley do that. I’m going to call first to make sure though.

There’s a trailer on YouTube for the baseball bat and the only retailer it mentions is GameStop =( I don’t care about the demo access as much as it will be public for gold XBL members on Nov 3 but I’d like to have the weapon. Should be for all pre-orders not just GameStop.
That’s too bad. I can’t preorder it right now but I’d really like the baseball bat. There should be some way to get it even if you don’t preorder.

IF you remember right, if one person has the baseball bat unlocked, everyone does in the game.
@Jakerzz , I think you’re right. But what I’m not sure about is if it just means that when you play with someone who has a pre-ordered ver. of the game you have access to the bat and any other time you don’t…
Or, if you play with anyone who has it, you afterward always have it… I think option a is more likely.

Hm. Looks like the demo, according to Gamestop’s website, isn’t playable until 11 pm Pacific time on Tuesday. Which technically means Wednesday, for the rest of the timezones. right? Oh well, there goes my pre-order party that day.

It only means that if someone in your game has it, the bat will appear. But this is only true for however long you play with that person.
I went to EB Games today to pay the rest of my game… and asked quickly about the demo cards… Um… code thing’s
