Left 4 Dead 2 PC Demo Remains Locked
Despite numerous people pre-loading Left 4 Dead 2′s exclusive demo, PC users appear to be left in the dark waiting for it to unlock. It was originally scheduled to unlock sometime today, October 27th, but so far we just have an “unreleased” status.
We would assume Valve is aware of the problem, there’s plenty of angry forum posters everywhere, but so far they haven’t responded. Thankfully Xbox 360 owners are unaffected, and many have download and are currently playing said demo.
I’m glad i have an xbox i would be pretty mad if i didn’t play the demo on the first day.
ROFL. I was contemplating on whether or not I should get it for Steam or the XBOX. I made the right choice.

They moved the launch time back apparently to 2 AM Valve time and now it’s 4 or something. I’m sad neither FutureShop or EB Games here had any codes
Ho hum, I think the free dlc and community maps/mods will make up for it in the end.
Enjoy xbox live and it’s annual fees.

trust me… i do enjoy xbox live and i dont mind its annual fees… because its worth it.. now you enjoy your slow pc version that is sh!t and no fun playing with friends!
The xbox user got the demo, but I still prefer to play Left 4 Dead in Pc, its easier to move, to look around!
@DMAN it’s only slow if you have a shitty computer, otherwise it runs faster and looks better than the 360. Plus we don’t have to pay for shit and we can play with our friends easily and it’s lots of fun.
