Razer and Sixense’s new controller device will be totally compatible with Left 4 Dead 2 PC, Valve has announced.
This comes after its showing at the Worlds Largest Tech Conference, CES in Las Vegas.
The controller will give a somewhat Wii-Type feel to the game (along with other supported titles), but consists of dual-wielding peripheral rather than the Wii’s single controller.
Spong.com reports, “With this controller, Razer and Sixense have created the most immersive way to play our games,” said the game’s team leader, Chet Faliszek. “For us and for our customers, this release represents motion-enabled gaming that’s more integrated and visceral than any platform has so far achieved.”
I can seriously see myself using this on a day-to-day basis, and rest assured, when this is released over here in the UK, I’ll be most certainly writing up a review right here.
Now, Sixense…where’s mine?
Every British citizen knows for a fact that the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) does not advertise on their network and its TV channels (the license fee pays for that). If this is true, are they trying to tell us something?
Seems like even scientists themselves are readying themselves for a Zombie Apocalypse.

The great thing about Dead Center is that there are so many different places to instant kill your opponents. This one is at the window right before the Survivors go upstairs to enter the hall that brings them to the elevator. It is the hall right after the Survivors get back inside after going on the balcony to get around the fire.
This is not an instant kill, but it’s certainly a great Charger spot. It is very easy to hit the Survivors as it’s a narrow pathway and you are guaranteed to incapacitate your main target as you will charge him right off of the roller coaster. This Charger takes place after the Survivors run up the initial part of the roller coaster and come around to the second part where they must travel up the coaster (1st if you do not include the initial climb). To give you a better idea of how it is done you may watch the following video:
Close to the elevator the Survivors must take in the first chapter of Dead Center there is an excellent instant kill that can be done by the Charger. As the Charger you can wait until they are about to enter the elevator, or you can wait until the approach the elevator room from the long hall way that they must take to get their. Once they do and are lined up with the window close to the elevator you can charge them straight out of it. This is a great instant kill because it does not look like you will be able to get them out of the window due to the 2 feet of wall before the window starts. This instant kill can catch many teams off guard. You can view a video of it being performed below:
At the beginning of the first chapter of The Parish it is possible to instant kill the Survivors right as they leave the dock. Using the Charger, wait until the survivors choose their weapons and then run to the end of the docks walkway. If there happens to be more than one Survivor within that area it is possible for the Chargers area damage effect to hit the nearby survivors over the railing killing them as they land in the water. The following is a video of the instant kill in action:
Some people wonder why L4D2 cannot handle more than four survivors at any one time. Well, this video should be more than enough to tell you why Valve decided to limit it. This little clip shows the chaos that ensues when 16 people are allowed to join a L4D2 server, before it decides to crash.
With reports of players failing to get through the ‘Easy’ difficulty due to the stupidity of AI companions in Left 4 Dead 2, a video has backed this up by showing just how hilariously bad the AI can be in the sequel.
